About Us

VoIP-Facts.net is a web site designed and maintained by North Beach Networks, a networking and web design company based in North East Florida.

Our goal is to explore the different practical and technological aspects of Voice over IP Telephony as it relates to the residential consumer, as well as small and medium size businesses.

In 2006, the adoption of VoIP in the residential community grew to 2.9 million, up from 2.2 million the previous year. Growth is expected to continue as more households gain access to high speed Internet connections.

The business community has been utilizing Voice over IP for some time now, and has indeed been the driving force behind the technology. IP based PBX software has contributed significantly to the adoption of VoIP in the small business arena, as well as smart phones, realizing sizable telecommunications savings for many companies.

Join us as we watch the next Telecommunications Revolution unfold through a series of plain english articles, real time Industry news, and independent reviews of the players that make up the Voice over IP community.
